viisConnect has been created using our state of the art Cloud Platform.

This platform is a configurable "Platform as a Service" engine that is configured to provide the solutions each client requires.

We use Dell rack servers exclusively in all our data centres. Redundancy is assured through various components including multiple CPU's and Raid configuration of disks. In addition we can transfer communities between servers in each datacentre as well as between Australian and New Zealand servers, thus maintaining operational uptime.

The Viisibility platform is written almost exclusively in Microsoft ASP.NET/VB.NET. Therefore there is extensive use of ASPX technology. No client side software is required.

The client only requires an Internet browser:
  -  Microsoft Internet Explorer 6.0 and above
  -  Netscape Navigator 7.1 and above
  -  Mozilla Firefox 1.0 and above

Other technologies employed in the development include;
  -  Encryption -  PowerTCP Zip Compression Tool (component)
  -  Charting -  DotNetCharting (component)
  -  SMS -  Message4U SMS (component)

The database employed is the latest version of SQL Server while the latest versions of Microsoft Windows Server are utilised on each server.

Software updates are downloaded automatically as required using Microsoft’s automated software update process.
